Mountain Medication

Mountain Medication or Mountain Meditation?
One and the same, no?  A friend asked me to do a painting which captures the
essence of her mountain home and this is the first image that came to my mind.
Everything about her retreat speaks of that zen feeling the Buddha
personifies (and not a few such figures can be found there as well).
Anyway, this composition was for me....I had a lovely, soft
piece of unstretched canvas which I used only to find, horror of horrors, that I
needed to prime it (which I neglected to do) so it is officially not
"archival."  This means that it possibly will not be here
in 100 years, possibly...and neither will I!
Paint and learn.
