Time to Jump....or hop?

I have never seen a real white grasshopper before but thanks to the photgraphic skills of http://www.onenezz.blogspot.com/
I have seen a picture of one!
This fellow really caught my imagination as his little feet seemed to be hanging
on for dear-life; perhaps he really doesn't like hopping all that much?!
At any rate, the detail and the color were great fun to work on and I know now I will have
my eye out for such a g'hopper.  I think these critters have my attention for a
few more paintings.  Again, I credit and give thanks to the talent behind OneNezz's garden blog.

    I love the contrast of the white grasshopper against the dark, rich leaves. A good subject indeed! I can see your inspiration.
