Welcome

So I begin a blog on the day before eye surgery...am I building in an excuse?  We'll see.  Meanwhile, I look forward to sharing my recent work...the successes as well as the failures, the humor as well as the triumphs, the ideas I am struggling with and the breakthrough conclusions I have discovered.  Your comments will be valued and your willingness to pass along the information will be appreciated.  Hopefully we will both learn a bit.  So this is a gentle placeholder while I "get my act together."
